This Zip that I cleaned up sounds pretty cool, I should have let it idle more in the video, its sounds best at idle

Old 1955 David Bradley. Back then a lot of the saws had power products engines with different frames and drives. The old Bradley had a straight pipe and the difference of it and todays saws reminds me of the difference between a Harley and a two stroke Yama-hammer of today. Yeah, it was slow, but couldn't stop that old gear drive.:chainsaw:

The sound of my 394xp and my partner's 440 running side by side, wot, burried in big wood brought a smile to my face last week. I was not running the saw, just listening and it sounded beautiful.

Best Sounding Saws

I though that I would chime in on this one. My Stihl 041 has a very unique tone to it.Just thought that others might be interested in my .02 scents worth, Ken

That thing sounds good!

My favorite is the Remington PL-5. Sounds like an old outboard motor from a distance, and is powerful yet mellow up close. I had one for a while, but it needed more work than I cared to give it. I'd gladly buy another one in good-to-very-good shape, ready to run, if anyone has one to sell for a fair price...
