Hey guys. So the D44 I'm working on has a loose bar stud. When I try to loosen the nut, the whole stud rotates. Of course it's not loose enough to just pull out... Doesn't budge. Just rotates. So.. any tips on getting it out (other than destroying it) and secondly, best way to install a new one. Or re install this one if it can be saved. Thanks guys

Not familiar with that saw but may be fastened with a square nut inside the oil tank. If so, possibly just nut loose. Go to Beg For Manuals thread and get repair manual and IPL
