Just got a question. Would there be any advantage to or disadvantage to carrying the .020 squish further into the combustion chamber with still maintaining .1000 off the top of the ring? I just think in theory it should add more compression which should give more torque and make the saw run more efficiently? What do the people that actually know something think?

Well my original squish was. 050 with a 5* taper. I had .040 I can take off the top of my piston. So I am gonna be able to maintain a .020 squish into the combustion chamber slightly after milling the head down. 070 and using a OEM base gasket that comes in at .020
