Just going over this blower before the fall season, I was checking the RPM's and I'm getting 6800-6900 at WOT.

It runs fine, never a hiccup, just feels slightly down on power. Air filter is clean, plug is good, I did check the valve clearance in spring and it was good.

Just curious what RPM's others are seeing.

I also have the factory tip installed that slightly reduces the tip diameter.
 
I'll send you the carb setting data when I get home. I have worked on 100s of the br 4 mix series l. Cam ware can cause that problem

That would be great. I could put a dial gauge on the rocker and see how much lift I have....least try to anyway.
