A 088 never used to me is worth bout 1000. If it has a box in good shape with all the stuff it was sold with like manual and tool kit maybe 1200 to a collector. If its a 088 and has had fuel in it and been ran even a little its a 800 doller saw to me. I am admittedly a cheap ass tho.
In my opinion, if it’s allegedly new, but can’t be verified, I agree it’s in the $1k neighborhood. If it’s legit in box, and the story isn’t fishy, I bet a collector would dig deep. Just my $0.02.
