Brush bandit stuck in forward

Hi all. I have a 2005 9" brish bandit and just latwly it has become very difficult to put the feed when in reverse. The bar is very difficult to push and will eventually press into reverse. The problem seems to happen more when the lower feed when becomes jammed.

I believe you need a detent kit for the feed bar. Contact your local Bandit dealer as they're not that much.

Is there anyway I could take it apart and clean it to limp it through till I can order a new one?
Where is it located on the chipper?

The feed bar hooks up to a hydraulic block and you'll see a round cap with 2 allen head screws. The detent kit is inside of the cap. I doubt you'll to repair or clean it up as when they go out they're done. I believe the kit is about $100.

It's a very simple repair as I believe that there is only 2 screws. 10 minutes max.
