O Man, Just out of Idle Curiosity what made you decide to pull a head when it quit running? It must have been skipping badly?

Dan, are you locked in to the 935? Or get a really great price? If you can find a Bandit 90, you will find it to be a far superior chipper. both are 9 inch capacity but the 90 has a much bigger infeed, making it much easier to feed bulky material through.

Either that or an old 12 inch Morbark or 150,200, 250 Bandit. there are lot of them out there. Tree Trader has bunches.

With the 935, (and all chippers) be sure to regularly grease the bearing nearest the clutch. A friend's went out; seconds later, the crank gave out, which toasted the engine. It was a deisel, so the repair bill was $5800!!!!

Interesting. With no piston or rod I would expect the engine to throw oil out the exhaust when the exhaust valve opened. Or maybe they took the pushrods on that cylinder out?
