I planted seven Canadian Hemlock's in May of this year. Each plant was about 5' tall. I spaced them about 12' apart on the East side of our home in an area that receives moderate sunshine (in mid-summer they get sun from about 8:00 AM to noon). We watered them all summer to keep the soil moist. One of the plants is now turning a bit yellow and dropping needles. Anything I can do to help it or should I just wait to see if it makes it through the winter?
