G"Day Gents
I'm having trouble with my left cutters only when I sharpen. after a few sharpens with a 7/32 file on a Stihl flat guide the left cutters seem to be to recessed into the gullet so that the chain cuts but it wont load the motor up (xp 288)my rakers are kept at .30" but when you look down on the cutters (left only) the side edge of the cutter is too far recessed .It cuts but dosent "saw"is the only way I can descride it.My top angle is 30*for hardwood and I keep them pretty consistant.I dont think its the guide because its only the left side.Any thoughts please:msp_rolleyes:
