0.404 pitch 0.080 ga. https://frawleyssawshop.com/ has an Oregon chain reference page.I picked this roll up at a yard sale a couple of years ago , the tag on the roll is worn off has 50 stamped on cutter and 18 on chain
I concur -- that's a very blunt (Blount?) grind, which would hold up well under harsh conditions. Yet, it appears to be a semi-chisel chassis, which means that it can be ground to a somewhat faster-cutting profile. However, that .080 gauge means it will not fit a normal .404 bar unless it's either worn- or hogged-out. In all, an odd and interesting but not specifically useful find.If it’s 0.080 gauge, it’s likely for use in a mechanical harvester, not a hand held chainsaw.

Post it in some trading posts / Craigslist type forums. Now that you know what it is, someone may still want it. Could be a win-win for both of you.It wasn't much of a loss, I only paid $10 for the roll . thanks for the replies and help
