Howdy,
I noticed yesterday there is a different chain listed as being compatible with the CS-352 and CS-361p.
CS-352 - 91PX/91VG
CS-361 - 91PXL57CQ

Length and pitch (9.53mm-3/8”) are the same. Wondering if the better chain advertised on the 361 can be used on the 352.

Or any better chain options anyone has discovered for the CS-352?

Same goes for my Stihl 192 & 192. Seems like my last couple chains weren’t up to par with previous and may have been a different part number.

Thanks for the help!

PX and PXL are very similar chain and can be used interchangeably. Just the cutter is longer on PXL.

If you want the best chain around for your Echo you need to find a full service Stihl dealer that will spin you a loop of PS or PS3. You can buy boxes of premade loops for your Stihl saws.

Do you have the oddball 57 DL bar on both of your Echo saws? Some come with the more common 56 DL bar.

@svk - Thanks for the advice. I’ll see if I can find some PS or PS3 for my Echo.

As far as the 14” bars go on my 192 & 193...
The bar on the 192 is so worn all markings and lettering are gone.
The bar on the 193 says, “3005 000 4809”

We’ll have to look up that bar to see if it’s .043 or .050. The .043 offers less chain options.

@svk - You may have to dumb that down for me.

Last time I went to the Stihl
Dealership they sold me a couple that fit bit they weren’t the “3005 000 4809”
