Chainsaw fuel line help

Just picked up a homelite superxl auto, things a little beast! the fuel line is cracked made of rubber, bought some replacement tubing , made of vinyl , problem is the vinyl wont slide over fitting that feeds into carb due to it being bulbous, any help regarding how to solve will be appriciated , also new to forum sorry if posting in wrong location:rock:
 
fuel line help

Just warm it up a bit with a heat gun or some other heat source and it will get soft and slide right on.

well i used a little common sense and put in boiling water then she slid right on, got her to kick over, ran for 2 seconds :bowdown:.. then died agin, next pull......RIPPED CORD:bang:... about to go back out to garage and have at it again, thanks for welcomes and tips , ill have some pics soon, threw up one of my bike on diff thread:rock:
