I have posted this several times on different threads. i made these brackets and bolted them to my took box. i ended up getting a hardtop cover for my truck so i dont use them anymore. build something like this and mount it in your SUV.

That's a very common setup with the loggers around here.
My saws almost never go in my truck, all my cutting is 4wheeler access only.
 
Our 460 Rancher wouldn't fit in the Husky case at our dealers (not the square powerbox, the other one). But it fits just fine in a Stihl case. Hopefully, the saw won't develop some kind of complex or multiple personality disorder.
 
I'm sure Al will see this old thread eventually, but freight might be a killer for that box :msp_wink:

It looks like just a galvanized sheet metal Kinchrome toolbox on the outside.

Inside I'm guessing he has cut up some high density foam tiles with holes precut in them and glued them to the floor and sides? Like these but black. Foam Floor Mats, 4 Pack
