I am looking to buy some climbing rope. I am thinking about arbormaster by samson, safety blue, or forestry pro. All of them in half inch. I climb on a blakes hitch, without a split tail. Do any of these three ropes take friction hitches any better than the others. I know that the arbormaster is the strongest and the forestry is the weakest. Any opinions? Thanks

I have Samson blue and a shorter New England high V.

I think I'd go with the Samson.

I bought the other first before I found the Samson dealer.

i have heard about breaking in a rope before, but i do not know what all you have to do. anyone know the proper technique, or have any opinions as to how to break it in? thanks
