Colonade apple trees

Hi! I have 2 colonade apple trees.One is growing fine.The other one has curled leaves and didn't have any blossoms this year.The other tree got blossoms for the first time this year!The trees are around 5 years old.Any idea what is causing the leaves to curl? This is the first year this has happened.We live in the White Mountains in NH! Thanks,Arlene

Could be heat/drought stress. Did you look for aphids?
