No not whinny just experienced and I learn fast when I spend dough.

I thought Tom offered to fix it just for cost of parts...

but then you'd have to stop whining cuz it would be working. Hmm.. seems to me its worth $600 for you to be able to complain, but you won't spend a few bucks to have a working saw that could earn money

I will try once again try to get it through to you cremesickles, I don't need tom to fix it. I can fix it but feel it is unworthy at this time. I have bigger things to take care of than a defective saw. I will not spend nothing toward it yet, I have the 192 and hopefully it will last longer.

So i attended the logging congress show over the weekend in Green Bay. Man there is alot of cool stuff out there. Central Illinois isnt exactly known for its logging. I checked out and ran a dolmar and a jonsered saw for the first time. We dont even have a dealer around here for them but they were nice saws. Eventually i wander over to the stihl tent and what do we have here? Weed eaters. At a logging show. You have to be kidding?? I was so disappointed that it damn near ruined my trip. The biggest saw they had was a 660 and they didnt even have a top handle saw. Now dont you think there is something wrong with that? I mean youre at one of the biggest logging shows in the midwest and you have more weed eaters than chainsaws. Un friggin believable. Maybe i am just gonna have to break down and buy something that isnt orange!!

Your right, they should have brought a big sack of ms290s. Best selling chainsaw in the world. Nothin’ sais “pro logging” like a ms290.

Most of the logging shows I have been to showcase manufactures new models or lines of equipment. In the case of Stihl, they don’t really have anything “new” on the market to showcase. The ms660 “paintshaker” is so old it farts sawdust. The ms261 is a myth and the ms362 really isn’t logger fodder. Stihl dose have the 4-mixer trimmer and blower line. I would have liked to see some of the new stihl battery powered stuff I have been hearing about.

Thats not what i was saying at all. All i was trying to say is when i go to a show to see epuiptment i dont go to see the crap i can go and see in the local Big R. It would be nice to see all the big and baddest stuff thats out there. I am by no means a logger but i didnt see one feller buncher large enough to cut down the oaks and walnut trees i regularly cut. Trees dont grow like match sticks here.

You can't fix that 200T Rope, you gotta be able to see what your doing and with you being all blurry eyed, well you know,:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

About 24” is the max on a harvester. You usually need to get out and hit anything larger with a chainsaw. Chainsaws is boring. You seen one, you seen em all. I like firewood processing equipment myself. Always like to see the latest and greatest designs from a supersplit to the multitek. Too bad the firewood market is flat and it is getting flatter. Last show I was at, Gransfors Bruks had a righteous display. Too bad I can afford anything they produce.

Well now Tom, if you jumped into my body for ten minutes and felt the pains I have on most days, then had a supposed pro saw go down in eight months you would prolly cry too.

No doubt Rope, I know your a hard working man. Let ole Tom worry with that 200, send that dayummm thing here and let me put a grin on your face for FREE, parts not included of course, I don't like ya quite that much, haha

Man, all this talk about saws & weed eaters & leaf blowers, but did they demo that million dollar shop vac @ the show?
