Craftsman 5.2/30"

Few questions as I have no info on the saw. It was left in my shop when I bought the property.
1. What chain should it have on it? Has the original bar on it which I may look for an extra too, so any suggestions on that would be great.

2. The sticker says 1/2 pint per gallon fuel mix. Is that serious at 15:1? Going to buy yet another fuel can if thats true.

Lots of opinions on oil mix I run mine at 40:1 with decent mix oil like Echo, Stihl etc.
Lots of guys run them at 50:1

Snappy 85cc saw. I tried some of the Oregon EXL chain. Really nice stuff.

1/2 pint is 8oz per gallon at 16:1. As mentioned, 40:1 and you'll be fine, Nice 5200.

I usually mix it at 40:1 or 45:1 with Stihl HP ultra in my 5200
Nice saw I’d love to find a craftsman branded one

I run 40:1 in everything. 2.6 ounces to .8 gal of gas or IIRC 3.25 ounces to a gallon of the best premium fuel I can buy.

When you buy premo fuel, pump the first couple gallons into your car so you purge the gas pump lines of the regular test that last guy used.
