Curious MSWS, where'd ya do your boot? Army, eh? What MOS? OIF? Where at? When? Yah, I was there too. My avatar pic taken north of Scania headed SB, real plates in the IBA and real bullets in the real mags... just curious?

I doubt he was a vet.
Unless he's playing soldiers in his mothers basement where he lives.

Pizzes me off when dinks say they were vets.

That's a line shouldn't be crossed.

My brother and I were talking the other day.
On some forum, maybe this one, somebody said they were a Ranger.
"What class?"
I don't remember. .....
My brother laughed. Rattled his off and said he'd forget his own birthday befor he forgot that. 30 years ago he was in.
One of his buddies now has a photo of EVERY class every graduated.
Some body comes on the forum and says they were in.....
Picture pops up and you get to pick yourself out.
The names aren't there...........;)

In a way, I feel like I've derailed OP's thread a bit, and yet I feel quite okay about it! Lol! He hasn't been back on tonight to defend his claims or answer simple questions. I know it's late, h3ll, I'm on the left side of the US, it's almost 0100 here, but hey, the OP is so used to days without sleep, hard (er than anyone else) work and all that! Wonder where he is? Maybe trying to google answers to come up with something that sounds halfway real! Or maybe tucked away all nice and sound in bed (like some Fobbit)!

Who knows?

Duane
Hey Stihl 041, do those photos you talked about include PX Rangers? LOL!

Well, I'm gonna puss out and go to bed... alarm will still go off at 5,,,, 4 hours from now. Come to think of it, when I was in boot, the Army said you only need 4 hours of sleep a day, and it doesn't all have to be at once.... Well, I'm gonna get my 4 in one shot! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Basic was at fort Knox - D 2-64, 1st platoon wolfpack. They don't do it there anymore I believe. I was a 68p, radiology specialist. I was at Fob Falcon 2008-09.

Can anyone here tell me about career opportunities as a chainsaw operator once you have built up your skills? What positions they have for experienced operators, what pay is like, and who the main employers are?

Good luck on your new logging carear . Now the next question you should be asking is what oil and mix ratio should you be using for your new logging saw?

That's how I found this forum. I was looking to talk to some people with first hand career experience in the field. For some reason, a bunch of people feel insulted by my post and they have derailed this discussion. If anyone here has some real experience in a career as chainsaw operator, please private message me with the details.

Your posts have proved to the whole world that you are a CLOWN with a low I.Q. Nobody in the whole world would let you fall trees for pay!

Unless they are also a moron

No one was born knowing this stuff. I am trying to learn. There is no reason to call someone a moron because they lack experience.
