Did this MS 660 Crank Get Too Hot?

I'd turn the idle down to about 2800 and back the H screw out to about 12500.

Done. The idle does bounce between 2700 and 2900 but is lower than the original setting. Idles fine otherwise.

When I first started it, it popped on the 3rd pull, and fired right up the next. I was pretty happy with that!

Just make sure it 4 strokes at wide open between cuts or when you let off in the cut. They'll lean out as the saw heats up more in a long cut
