They only brought the 'fast" stuff. Too far to haul a slow poke  Jon says " see if your choke is stuck on?"

Ahh, home! Chillin, upload some pics later. Had a great time, ran a buncha saws including some monsters. Man, the eats, huge buffet, I think everyone had thirds at least. Fairly well out in the sticks, my phone didn't work at all, so, couldn't do anything for pics last night. Ratsun did good, 3/4 tank there and back, I'll figure my mileage when I top it off this week, was doing a little moderate hypermiling.

FOP won the steak, for his 070. That thing is heavy and pulls, got some vibes to it. I forgot nmurph was bringing his mac125, he rolled in in the afternoon, woulda had to cut the steak in half for a shared prize, that was pretty cool too. MM ported 3120 won LOUD MEAN MUTHA I think. Just a lotta great saws. Old big homies, an olympk, mine and a couple more big old poulans, plenty of modern hotrod saws. Sugihara seems to be the bar of choice for the hotrods...

About half and half younger dudes and greybeards.

Just had a great time.

OK, here's some pics

Mastermind ported 3120:
That's Renae showing Randy how to use it;)

Well guys you finally pulled it out of me and now I'm making my first post. (ever on any social media site! :))

Yeah, Randy's ported 3120 was a beast. It really puts out the exhaust and the left hand can get pretty warm when too close to the muffler. That's what I was wanting to tell him. Overall, IMO, it was the strongest and most powerful saw I ran.

Oh and for those that don't know, that chain was not the sharpest by no means when the video was taken.

Awesome day and awesome chainsaw.

You were a big help and kick started a lot of major cookie cutting!

Thanks Zogger for helping me get the hangar emptied this morning. Dale said he would take care of getting the planes back inside. I'm really tired but it's a happy tired. The GTG was a lot of fun. Groundi was going to make one more load of the remaining coolers and supplies and then the hangar will be back to its original configuration. Gotta a few things to clean up outside. lol.
I'll bring a dump trailer and throw all the "ultra short" firewood into it. The sawdust will just get raked around and compost. The logs I'll pile back up for future firewood. This thing was a lot of work to put together but I think it came out pretty well. A lot of people had a part and thanks to all of them too. hseII, the one big log you brought with the green center was a poplar according to a local guy that runs a bandmill.
I guess at least one chain suffered damage from a nail. One of the hazards of cutting trees. As far as I know, there were no injuries and plenty of saw tryouts took place. My 070 acted up but I tracked it down to a mushy fuel line that was collapsing.
Maybe we need to do this again sometime.
Pics will be forthcoming.

I've been to a lot of GTGs.......but this one may have been my favorite one yet.

FOP, Groundie, and Dale sure outdid themselves. WP's port was perfect.

Chainsaws, pulled pork and airplanes. WOW......what a GTG !!!!!!

My grandson Jonathon, had a fantastic time. He even got to go up in a glider !!!!!!!

Thank you to Will for hooking us up with very nice lodging too. WOW......even a swimming pool !!!!!!!!

Yeah, this GTG was epic for this old man. :)
