dumb question about husky 2100

I just picked up a husky 2100 and no little about this saw. When I took the bar off it had no oil/guide plates. Should it?

Yep there should be plates there. Guess you'll have to find some.

Actually, you don't really need them, mostly they are there to keep the chain on, I figure.
