Pushing the pump plunger button and no oil flings off the front. How do I restore fuctioning oiler? Tank has oil and it feels like it pumps,..???
 
Going to go do that and see.

Can you post a picture? If you pump the oiler it should come out near the bar studs.

I did see some right there but put it all together again. It had a ton of saw dust in there. I can hear the pump when I push the rod button though. Getting dark, so I'll see tomorrow. Maybe I can load the video somehow. The oil semed to be wetting right above the studs.

Checking that little oil port between the bar studes as previously mentioned is the first step. If there's oil pumping out there there then the next problem would be the port/groove on the bar. This guy talks about it about 4 minutes in:
