Hi All,
I have an Eastern White Pine, approximately 60' tall and about 14" diameter trunk at 4 1/2' off the ground the ground.
The root I'd like to cut is about 4" diameter and 9' from the base of the trunk.
Tree is straight and healthy, although it sits on maybe a 30 degree incline hill. I'm worrying about the likelihood of it falling as a result of cutting this root, as our house is within range and downhill from it.
