Umm.. are you sure you want to invest the time? Coils are getting expensive, as are the fuel lines if you can find them. I just did one up for a member here and it's a neat saw, pulls well with 3/8 LP, plenty of grunt with the reed valves. If it was mine, I'd just hunt an Echo 330T or something along those lines. If I was looking for a piston, I'd look for another saw. I love old Echo stuff.. just getting real hard to find parts for.

It's for my dad. He bought it from a yard sale for $2. Had a bar that fit and we have oodles of chains. Just recently it's giving piston problems. If I can find one under $30, he said he'd bandaid it.

I agree. But as with any elder, can't change their ways. He's a man to take off a day of pay to save $15.... /me shrugs.

So, I don't know availability, once confirmed, I'll make decision. Thanks.
