Hello and thanks in advance.
I have an Echo CS300 I have had for years. Love love love it. It looks like my Ignition Coil has gone bad. I have ordered a new one that should be here later today. For nothing can I find the coil Gap listed online, anywhere.
I know the old one was very very close to the flywheel, like I could even see some rubbing on the flywheel. But maybe that's correct? It was firmly screwed down, screws were so tight I was wondering if I was even going to be able to remove it, or use an impact screw driver..so I do not think it crept over time?
Anyway, the right thing either way is to be able to set the gap to spec.
Can anybody help me here please?
Thanks in advance

Got 2 answers now of Coil Gap for Echo CS300, maybe going to try and call Echo:

".012"-.016"" from forum member
"The Gap should be no less then 0.30mm" from eReplacementparts.com
(I'm thinking they did not fully read my question, but jumped to assuming I was asking about the spark plug gap?)
CORRECTION! 0.30mm is the same, I stupidly misread. Kindly corrected by sundace

Got my Ignition Coil this morning, Installed and set with business card (measured at .014"). Fired right up, running strong :)
