Electric chainsaw safer for tree trimming?

Not sure why everyone thinks all electrics are "low RPM". It's much more about chain speed and torque.The Stihl E220 is 7000rpm no load dropping to 5600 full load, and when you adjust for the 8 tooth sprocket, it's not far from where a 7 tooth gas saw runs when buried in the wood at "full load". The chain is 3/8 full size (not Picco). With the big torque, they don't bog like a gas saw does, really throw out big chips, and cut pretty ???? good considering the 15amp current limits imposed by the 120v version of 1.7kw. The European models of the E220 use 220 volt, rev at 7200 and develop 2.2kw. Pity we can't get them here... BTW, the USA model is over $500...
