yes you are correct roller nose bars are very very bad for kick and boring but I live in Nebraska I don't get to much girth as I get height but I do get hard woods and water woods average size large I get is 4-5ft across and 70-150foot hi area I live in old growth is 100-175 years so I don't have much boring to do but their are waise to do it safely if need to but don't get me wrong I do use sprocket tip allot but cutting logs and felling are not the same the question is what type is he cutting or felling

Cannon Superbar. I have a 24" and 32"; have a 36" and 60" GB Ti bought awhile ago, but much prefer the Cannon. They are a stiffer bar.
 
The bar I like the best is my Oregon Pro bar. It is a 32" and really stiff. But the down side is it is a .063 gauge. All my other bars are .050. It does not get used much due to me havine a 36" Stihl bar. But it is still my best bar.
