Mine is a 7-29 homelite and a 44 or 52 poulan 2-man with like new compression , those old poulan 2-mans sound like harleys !!!!
And for a ear splitter is the super 71/72 poulan sand cast WOW , the crowd moves back when u fire one of those up!
And when you want to run somebody off a log cutting cookies , grab a good ole 72 poulan , and before u know it u will be cutting by yourself!!!!!! HA

Stihl contra/lightning/070/090 for me
Step-dad has a homelite VI944 which is pure noise at top end, when I first got it, I went to tach it to make sure it wasn't over-revving, it hit 10k rpm and just blasted noise, deafened me! It can be heard over our bearcat, tractor and a 385xp!

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Best sounding saw video posted yet. Sounds like a top fuel funny car. The 166 is a close 2nd. Hard to imagine anything beating this one for sound.

Stock unmolested muffler I can't think of anything better than a 288. Ported 372xp with dual port muffler is my favorite.
