Firebricks in OWB?

has anyone tried this and what were the results?

I have a dozen firebricks sitting around and I wondered if this would help make my owb a little more efficient

I remember a post on that. Some one put bricks in it and made a baffle in the top. He said it worked great, lots of heat. I'd be careful of over firing? Might void the warranty.:greenchainsaw:

it's in another thread....Central Boiler sez it voids the warranty, the concern is moisture eventually forming under the brick.
