First fire!

It's been in the 30's last two mornings around here so the heat has kicked on keeping the house at 70.

Still just burning crap wood from last year that is sitting around and some slab wood that will rot if not burned. Trying to hold off on burning the good stuff until mid-late October.

Still, hittin 30's around here way earlier than last year. A good sign for a nice cold winter

I've been burning on and off for a week now. Little of this, little of that. Mostly some Maple that I had stacked back in the woods. Figure I oughtta get that burned up before it rots. Tossed a little bit of Oak in last night just for giggles. It was nice!
