Well....I don't think it was as bad as predicted.
Can't see yet as it's still dark here.
I still have power anyway.

I did hear a resounding CRACK followed by a THUD a few minutes ago.

I can only assume it was a big branch off one of the many elm trees that fill my yard. (Hope it didn't land on my truck)

What little traffic that is moving at this hour is moving very slow.

Be interesting to see what daylight reveals.

I need coffee and.....my head hurts.

Was about 30 MPH all the way to town.
Salt had penetrated the roadway and it was like driving on a wash board gravel road.

My Sonoma is looking awful squatty with all the sand bags in the back.

Starting to get hard to see out the from of the shop, and yes the poles normally lean that much.

I just finished shoveling 8-10" of snow out of the driveway. It started around midnight last night and ended around 9 am this morning. Maybe we will hit the 130" mark again this year.

It's still and stunningly beautiful here this am.. 16 degrees.. but sunny. Saturday night? uh oh.. heavy snow followed by freezing rain...

Haven't moved the truck in three days, but did shovel snow from around it into the bed for weight. That seemed like a great idea at the time.. but as the wife reminded me.. weren't you going to use it to haul from the wood pile (it's 300 feet way though 12 inches of snow/ice)?.. rats...

Still snowing, about 8 inches or so. I can't see the road from the front of the shop which is about 100". Gotta lot white out conditions, cars going by about 25 mph.
