Hey guys, there is a ms250 on Craigslist for $175 and I think I can buy it for $150. Looks ok. Says it cranks, runs and saws good. It's in my town so no travel. I'll just be cutting firewood for next winter. Nothing big. Not up to speed on those 250's
Personally I would not pay $175 (or even $150) for an 025/250/251. It is not a saw I need and for the same money (and sometimes for less) I can get an 026/260/261. Last one I bought I paid $125 for and got a nice Poulan 3400 with it.
Another too much vote. I just picked up two saws for $310 yesterday, a MS026 and a 026.
They both needed new chains, but they both start easy, no broken parts, and have over 175 psi of compression.
Better deals are out there if you keep looking.
