Getting bummed about firewood...........

I'm getting bummed out scrounging firewood for 2015/16. I got some this Spring but nothing since then. Granted I was under the weather most of this summer (old age creeping up on me!) but still the scrounges just aren't showing up in my area . I might have to go hang out at the city's recycling center to see what comes in but I swear all they get in is 3' willow. I might even be a bit short for this upcoming winter.

Go proactive. When still hunting isn't working, go stalking! Start knocking on farmer's/ landowner's doors, see if you can buy anything standing, stumpage. 10-20 a cord, offer that.
