I've always heard 42 specials cut decent. How bout 444's? 238 and 242's are hard to find but they ripped.

Another choice is the Husky 141/142. My 142e is a wonderful saw to run with only a slightly opened up 141 non-cat muffler. I took it out for backup this weekend, and promptly rocked the chain on the other saw I was using. I finished it up with the 142 and was reminded how nice it works. I have a 16" bar with Oregon 90S (0.043") chain and it really goes.

Husky 338xpt = Jonsered CS2139T = 7.5 or 7.7 lbs depending on what chart you read = 39cc (45cc if California model) Easy to start. Run great stock. Handle well. When just holding the Stihl 201T has a better left to right balance but I like the feel of the 338/2139 in the cut better.

Earlier a Poulan S25cva was mentioned, I have a XXV Microvibe, 33cc that is 7.5 lbs, cuts well & handles great. I see them also sold as a Craftsman, for around $50 regularly.
