do you put a chain on some of those and drag them out to make them easier to work on ?

I am getting almost all sugar maple currently , dry it burns well , a fair amount of what I get has rotten centers so not great heat wood in the soft parts but it sure gets a fire started in a hurry once it is well dried out under a roof

I bought a portable winch to drag them off the pile.
