I am pretty sure my neighbors hate me now. This was all cut by me with the help of a couple Wicked Worksaw's, a lot of determination, and breakfast bourbon. I work 12 hrs a day, have MS, and took no time off of work to do this. I did most all the splitting this weekend with a splitter, but had already split 4 cords with my trusty Fiskars X27.

I whish I could brag about the same. I have about 12 cord of logs still waiting for me to get to. I've spent the last 3 weeks working 12.5 hour night shift 6 nights a week. I kept telling myself that I will go home and cut and split a little each day at sunrise before I come in the house. The reality of it is, you stick a man in a rocking chair after working a shift like that in a dark room feeding a 7 month old baby when you step foot in the house it becomes impossible to not be tired. Ususally the little guy is wide awake and wants to bounce around for a few hours before crashing and Momma only got ~5 hrs of sleep anyways so I end up lounging around with him untill the wife gets up with the other one at about 8... I cant remember when Ive had more than 6 hrs of sleep. To make matters worse, wifey thought it was a good time to remodel the bathroom. FML

I am pretty sure my neighbors hate me now...

If I looked out and saw something like this at my neighbor's house, I'd be walking up his drive with a saw in one hand and refreshment in another and a huge smile on my face! My one neighbor that used to cut with me gave it up after they figured out their kids stayed sick all winter as a result of burning, apparently due to the dust. Sucks for the little ones, but I sure do miss my cutting partner.

That's a great looking load you have there and even better looking pile of splits!

That's pretty much what my driveway looked like in October. I got half of it processed and moved by the end of November. Then the snow hit and stayed for 5 months. I just got the driveway cleared this past weekend. (Also with the help of my X27! ;) )

That is awesome!
It would be great to have that much wood to buck up and split already at your house.
I would miss going in the woods, but having a load dropped at your house sure would save wear and tear and Diesel.

:)

If we were neighbors, we would walk up together and ask the owner how log do you want them bucked to?

:)
