first ryobi that i have owned,i love it but2 months after useing, the throttle started to stick,high rpm when at idle. i think the return spring on the throttle shaft needs 1 more turn . hope somebody can help before i tear everything apart Ed

Pull the carb (it's easy to remove) and check the action of the strato air intake above the carb, make sure it's smooth throughout to wide open. Also check the linkage and trigger for drag I doubt it's the carb spring.
