I have a Homelite 240 that usually starts after 4-5 pulls with choke set then kick choke off and 1 pull and saw starts. Lately I have had to feather the throttle for 10 seconds or so get saw to speed up but when it does then it runs great, seems to have good power and good response, and always restarts easily and when the saw is warm it doesn't need the throttle feathered. It seems to work the way it is supposed to. My concern is is that this saw never really used to idle very well (which wasnt a real concern) but now it idles WAY too fast. There has been no adjustments to the carb and no other changes. Any ideas? Do i just need to adjust the idle or am I sucking air somewhere? Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks!
