I have a question about a saw that was given to me about a year ago. It is a Homelite XL. I pulled it out of storage yesterday looking for something to do in this below zero weather we have been having. Well it hasn't run for I don't know how long and put a little gas in it and she popped after about the eight pull, but would not run. I took spark plug out and the cylinder was full of gas. It seems to be pumping gas in way to fast. I am no great mechanic but am interested to see if I could fix this myself and looking for your expert opinions as to what might be causing this. Thanks for any help you could give me.
