How do i file these rakers/depth gauges

No, not bent. There's 10 of them all the same, and I've seen this style before. It's some sort of safety to anti kick back I think, just a little fuzzy about how to file them. I'm sure someone in the brain trust here is familiar with these
 
This is just an educated guess, so keep that in mind... I've always read here that any anti-kickback rakers should be filed down to the same height as the corresponding depth gauges.

Vanguard style

Dumb setup for any kind of actual cutting.

You'll need patience to set them.
 
A little knowledge is dangerous, get some new files and good luck, you have plenty of cheap chains to practice on
 
I'd use a pretty aggressive flat file for those, the regular depth gauge file will take a long time filing that much metal down.
If they take too long to file, I might even use a dremel.
You may soon find out why you got these chains for next to nothing lol.
 
I use this on LGX and EXL. Wonder if this will work too?
