How many saws does a guy need ?

I've heard that loggers have one plus a spare. Then again, clearing crews have to carry dozens and dozens because they run them WOT all the time and blow them up.

I log and I do carry two saws with me. For most of the summer it was a 562 xp and a 372 xtorq. My routine is to run a tank through each then take a break, rinse and repeat.
I am currently cutting much smaller stuff so in my truck is a 550 xp and 562 xp.
I also own a 2171 which I grab when I am blocking firewood.

If you're big and strong like me, you simply use u'r ported 3120 for everything

No ,i had one a couple months ago ,but gave it to another guy that needed one ,What i find amazing is 95 % of the guys on this site have 10 or more saws and do not really need them ,and the guys that do need them may have only one to generate income with ,i have asked several what they do without a backup saw ,and they said "I get to go home early those days "

I have a couple sheds full of saws and I use my saws but I use the same 3 or 4, but it's handy to have 25 or 30 backups just in case.

There's nothing better than taking a couple junker freebies and making a nice runner out of them. I love building a nice ported saw and having nothing but a little time in it.
