how to atach climbers to motorcross boots

is it just me? or has anyone ever tryed or thart about ataching a old pair of motorcross boots permently in place of L pades, shour do wear a hole in my leges ,if so how did thay work ? just thanking it would be faster than lasing up and straping on a pari of 17" lineman boots someday
