How to remove Impulse Line?

I am rebuilding the carb on my Stihl AV031. How does one remove the impluse line that attaches to the carb? Thinking about putting in a new one while having the carb out. Is that the line that attaches to the carb that goes into the combustion chamber? Anyway to determine if it is faulty?

not sure how to tell if it is faulty,but the pulse line runs from the carb to the crankcase to remove it just gently pull it off the carb and crankcase if you are in doubt about it being faulty just replace it with a new one they are only a couple of dollars from the stihl shop
