Hey guys, been lurking on here for a while soaking up lots of great info.
Couldn't find anything on this though; I have a Husky 142 that needs a crank. I've ordered 2 different aftermarket cranks (one from HLproparts). Both cranks were listed for Husky 136, 137, 141 and 142. Both cranks have been designed for the woodruff key to be separate from the flywheel.
The crank in my 142 (2007 saw) uses a flywheel with an integral key.
I did some research before I ordered these; Husky lists the crank p# as 503920801 for all years all 4 of those saws. It does list that the part replaces p# 530029794 for every single one of the saws also.

Does anyone know if the older saws had a separate key? If so, when did it change?
And, if so, any aftermarket cranks that are cut for a flywheel with an integral key? I'm not going to pay $130 for a crank for this saw [not worth it] and I don't trust used because I realistically can't check the rod bearings.

Thanks in advance for any help
