I have a Husky 254 xp and I was wandering about what you guys thought about this saw. It has been my primary saw for three years now, and I have a small homelite and a larger remington PL-5 as my backup saws. You guys seem to be into saws as I am into older motorcylces, so I was wandering what your opinion would be on the husky; I payed alot for it and it makes me wander if you guys think it is all of that or not.

dude,
the 254xp were nice little saws, 3.3 cubes. they had a single ring piston and a two shoe clutch, bar oiler was adjustable. i think that if the high jet was just a little too lean the saw would overheat bad. had a chain brake too. some even had a heated handle. marty
