I bought a new 257 husky back in 96. never cut a stick of wood with it because job fell through. short story my brother in law got it off me. he passed a few years back so I bought the saw off my sister the other day. its has some carbon scoring so my question is. is there a good aftermarket 262 cylinder out there and ill use a metaor piston. just wondering

I've been using this cheap one off of Amazon and it works fine so far, but no telling how long the plating is going to last. It's not a straight up swap, you need a different intake block that matches the 262's impulse hole. It's also at a slightly different angle so the carburetor will need to be shimmed up a bit.
