Husky 340 serial #location

I bought a Husky 340 at a yard sale and would like to know the date of mfg. but can't locate the serial number. There is a decal above the air cleaner with the engine description and some numbers stamped on the metal down by the sprocket ending in -01k. Does that mean it was made in 01 or just a part #.Any help would be appreciated.

If you are talking about the OLD 340 model,serial tag is close to oil cap.Newer 340 are located on blade side close to the antivibe.
