File by hand. Cheaper, potentially better results, and you can do it in the field. I rarely use my big bench mounted grinder anymore. This isn't rocket science, angles don't have to be perfect cutter to cutter to work well.
 
Update to this thread.

New 16 " bar and oregon chain now fitted and put to work on a fallen tree which it made mincemeat of !

the original 20 " bar & chain never cut like this .

wood chips flying out front and back with little effort required as the saw pulls into the work now.

Guess it was not the right combo.

I ordered the file so will be sharpening every workday to keep it sweet .
