Husky 372XP mods?

i keep hearing talk of dual ported mufflers and other things for these babies to make em run good, figured this would be the best place to ask questions.

so what is this "dual ported" muffler i keep hearing about? my saw is a 2004 model 372XP, i picked it up yesterday for 400 dollars and its in AWESOME shape for being 6 years old.

also, how will it compare to my 2077 jonsered as far as power? i know the 372's are a good runner but im just curious.....thanks in advance fellas!

Congrats on the new 372XP, and good ta have ya!!!

Do a search for "Muffler mod", crack a cold one, and settle in for a couple hours of reading.

Mine picked up a good bit of grunt, and the throttle response improvement is worth it alone.
