lso I have a 394xp I picked up and everything looks pretty decent. piston and cylinder are clean pretty dirty but all and all good for its age. The compression on this saw is at 135 psi per my guage. I have no clue what this saw came stock or if that is good or if it could use a new set of rings. Also it has no spark so I am guessing a new coil, but also how do you bypass the kill switch to make sure it isnt the kill switch first. Also does anybody have a good working condition coil for the 394xp??????

Thanks

Dom

just unplug the kill switch ground wire from the coil and then check for spark. id say the compression is low but it should still run.
